Ten Perfect Little Fingers and Toes

I just love all of the little features of a new born. I love looking at their little fingers and toes, their little nose and ears and their lips. I love how soft their skin is. I love the baby smell. I just love it all. I will try to stop clucking now.

How gorgeous is he!!!

Welcome to the World Baby Lachlan

How cute is HE!!! Welcome to the world little baby Lachlan. Michelle had him on Tuesday night at 8.59pm (28th July). He was 8pounds 1 ounce and 53cm long. He is quite fair and just gorgeous. I just want to eat him up.

Shelly had a fairly quick labour and she was extremely brave. She took it all in her stride. She had no pain relief what so ever!!! She went in ready to take anything she could get her hands on but the birthing unit was really busy and she had little time to do anything. I am very proud of her.

I am so glad that is over for her and now she can enjoy her beautiful little baby boy (not to mention that I can enjoy him too). I just can't get enough of him. So perfect!!!

What a great week!!! I hope that you all had a good one too!!!

Our Cake Decorating Efforts (LOL)

OK so the boys are having their party tomorrow and they are really looking forward to it. Our good friend Dan made a beautiful chocolate cake for the boys and left the decorating up to them. Now I must admit we all felt a little nervous being left with the edible crayons. And this is what we come up with. The boys are into to Pokemon and thus the cake got covered in Pokemon characters - so they aren't little monsters - they are Pokemon character. The boys had fun playing and so did I. Not bad for our first attempt - I'm not giving up my day job yet (Dan we will leave the decorated to you). Will post photos of the party tomorrow.

PS. Dan can we have a mark on our first Cake Decorating effort????

A busy day tomorrow with two soccer games. Luke needs to win his to make the top 4 teams and Ben needs to win his (only because he hates to lose). Oh I don't want the holidays to end. I have been really enjoying my sleep ins and I really don't know how I am going to get back into routine. I think that it is going to be a tough time. The boys have been enjoying sleeping in as well - more so than any other holidays that I can remember.

After Karen's Wedding Max and the Boys took a trip to the Park for a photo shoot. we had a great time. Max had me in stitches. Max you are a funny boy - you have so much personality and between you and your mum there is never a dull moment. I think that you are almost as funny as your mum. Love you both dearly!!!!!

Ben's Big Game at Marconi

On Saturday Luke won his game and then Ben had a big game at the Marconi Club. He played under the big lights and won 4-3. It was a nail biting game where each team would score and then the other. At the end of the game they lined up 8 teams for a race of Champions and Ben won the race. A great night had by all. Ben even scored a goal!!! I love the photo of him in action throwing in the ball.

Karen and Michael's Special Day

Oh we had a great time at Karen and Michael's Wedding. Karen looked just beautiful. Then boys had a ball doing their little job down at the Church. I wanted to get married in the church on the hill but it was Anglican.

The boys had fun at the park with Max after the ceremony and Max had his own photo shoot which worked out quite well. He made me laugh. I will definitely keep him in mind if ever I need a photographer.

We had a great day and a wonderful evening celebrating. I had sore ribs the following day from laughing. Sarah and I had many belly laughs. I must apologise to Sarah as I think that I spilt a few pink champagnes on her. I love all of you Bonnie Girls - I had a wonderful time.

Lots of Fun and a Great Day Out

A Holiday Scrapping Share

OK so the holidays are here and I am enjoying them immensley. Have just been doing the things that I don't normally get time to do. I had to do an 8x8 canvas as a profile for Memories that Last and the others are a couple of layouts for the shop.

I have also been asked to do some more work for Scrapbook Creations so I am working on that. Won't be able to share until it is published. I am however in next months mag.

I have also been doing a little reading. My only problem is that I am half way through 3 books. I think that I may have to commit and finsh them all in the next two weeks.

Hope that you are all well and enjoying life.

Getting Organised

This week is a good week as I have Karen's wedding on Friday and I can't wait and then Michelle's Baby Shower on Sunday. You all know how I love a good party!!!

I have been busy organising Shell's games and making sure that everything looks pretty. I too love detail!! Above is a little gift that I made for Shell tonight. Saw one at a shop and knew that I could whip one up for much less than what they were asking for.

The other photo is of a beautiful necklace that I bought for Karen's wedding. I am also partial to the odd piece of jellewery and I just love this. I haven't tried it with my dress yet. I will post photos of the big days as they happen. It is all very exciting.

My other great news is that Shelly has asked me to go in with her when she has her baby. I was in with my good friend Alison and it was the most beautiful experience. I just have to remind myself not to snatch the baby. I can't wait to see my niece or nephew (although I think it is nephew). Ok so here is my prediction of what will be. I think that Michelle will have a boy and name him Lachlan (she really loves Anthony - so this may be a way out guess). I think that she will go into labour on the 5th of August and have him on the 6th. I think that he will be nearly 8pounds. So we will see how much of this comes true. It will be funny if is a girl as I can only see her with a boy. Neither of them care whether it is a boy or a girl. I just can't wait. Did I mention that I am a little excited!!!!!

Rep Footy

Now I know that he looks a little mean with the mouthguard in but the truth of the matter is that he is as gentle as a lamb. Today we spent the day at Football. Luke represented his school and played 5 games of football. Needless to say that he was completely exhausted last night. It was a great day out and a nice atmosphere. As the day went on the boys confidence grew. They lost their first 2 games and then had a draw with one of the better teams and then they won their last two games. Luke scored a try which was fantastic. It was funny watching him as his mates went to congratulate him he just really wanted to get on with the game. Luke really is a team player and doesn't need the glory. He was just happy that the team was going well. I was thankful that I had the day to go and watch him. A really good day. I am very proud of him.

OK well the holidays are about to start. I have so much to do but what I really want to do most of all is nothing. I just want to relax, read a book or two and scrapbook. I want to spend some of that quality time with the kids. I have heaps to scrapbook so I the only goal that I might set myself is at least a page a day.

The Proposal

Today I had a day out with the girls. Now a day out with the girls always means lots of laughter. Now Helene was very clever today when she worked out how many minute spare I had a week. Then there was the laughter about Danielle's dog that turned up in her backyard. Now she thought that the dog was a boy and named it Jack and then found out that it was a girls and the other funny was that she thought that she had a cute little Jack Russell but when she took it to the vet she realised that it was a dalmatian LOL and LOL some more. The only part that she got right was that she had a dog.

So we all went to see The Proposal and I tell you that it was one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. It was funny and sad and funny some more. It had us in stitches. I would highly recommend it!!!! A movie well worth watching - so we had a great day together. Thanks for the fun girls!!!!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Lukey

My baby turns 11 today!!!! At this time 11 years ago I was in labour and waiting for this little one to come into the world. Well at 10.22am on Thursday the 2nd of July, 1998 beautiful Luke came into the world.

You are such a beautiful boy inside and out. You have such high values and morals for a child of your age. You know right from wrong. You read people and you seem to know what to say to assist. You are a SNAG in the true sense. Yesterday I was having a conversation with you after soccer training and someone had upset you. You told me of the things that you wanted to say to another kid but instead you told me how you just said it in your head because you are better than that. You are only 11 but you are truly amazing.

The other day after your shower I was saying to you "Don't turn 11!" I then said that soon you would be a teenager and that you would start to give me attitude. You told me not to worry as no matter what age you turn that you will always be Luke and that wouldn't change.

So to my beautiful son - the one that keeps me going I wish you the Happiest 11th Birthday and I hope that your day is as special as YOU are.
