My Mum and Dad

Well I have been busy preparing for my Dad's 70th birthday. I have been collecting photos and creating keepsakes for my dad. Going through these photos I found two that are my absolute favourites. They don't mean much to any one else but they mean the world to me. The first one is a cute little photo of my dad when he was little and the other is of my parent's wedding. I am really lucky to have come from such a beautiful family. I am grateful as I am grateful for the beautiful family that I have of my own. These photos make me smile.

A Layout to Share

This is a layout that I created while I was waiting for the sleepover to actually get to the sleep part. I am glad that I have got one page done as now I want to do more. I plan on scrapping as much as possible this week.

Today it is exactly 2 years since Luke had his tonsils out ( there is one for you Rainman!). He was such a brave boy. I am glad that is behind us. Looking forward to the week ahead.

A few more things on my list of to dos:
* Check Winter Uniforms for the boys and clean out what is not needed
* Make Dad's 70th Invitations
* Make Shell's Baby Shower Invitations
* Book Dad's Houseboat present
* Make Slideshow for the party
* Make photo book to give Dad
* Get my school program up to date
* I want to take some nice photos of the boys and then have a play with Photoshop (put into action all of those wonderful tips that Belinda taught me)
* Prepare for Staff Development Days

There the major things that I would like to have done. I have already completed a few things off the list.
Well there you go I think that I have got my blog up to date now. I have been a little slack - but I am back on track - lucky for that sleepover!

The Cubby Sleepover

The boys wanted to have their friend from down the road sleepover. Then not only did they want to sleepover but they decided that they wanted to sleep in the cubby house. So we set the Cubby House up for them and they are all up their for the sleepover. It is a little cold tonight so I hope that they are OK. Ben went to sleep at about 12.00am and when I last visited at 12.30am the boys were playing Poker-Funny. Where did my little boys go and where did these independent people come from?? It is now 1.30am and I think that the torches are out and they have gone to sleep. Sleep tight my little angels - Mummy loves you. I don't know if she is going to get any sleep???
Hope that all is well for everyone.

Soccer Round 1- Manager Under Review

OK so the soccer season has officially kicked off. Both boys are content in their teams. Ben had a cracker of a first game and scored 3 goals. Their team won.

Luke's day was not so good he lost 6-0. But I tell you he poured his heart and soul into it. He saved a couple of goals. I was really proud of his effort. Some of the other boys had already made up their minds that they had lost the game but Luke fought till the bitter end.

Not on to the management side of things-well I don't know about this job???? This week I had to take the boys to 3 nights of training and then I had to attend a managers meeting on Friday night, then the game on Saturday. Never mind we do it for the kids. However our first game was interesting when one of our dad's got into a bingle with the other team and I had to cross the field to calm things down. Lucky that he listened to me and I was able to get him to walk away. What have I done??? And then as you can see I had to take the shirts home to wash so that the sponsor's name can be printed on them this week. Boy oh boy.
Signing off manager (in question)

Painting Luke's Room

Easter Monday we finished painting Luke's room. It looks really good and I love the colour. Luke really wanted to keep his clouds on the top half of the wall. I repainted the whole room to touch it all up and then I was going to do the clouds again. When he saw the room he was happy without the clouds. I was kind of glad beacause I didn't know for how much longer he would be happy with the clouds that were from the Nusery we set up for him.

I also cleaned out the boys clothes and handed on anything that didn't fit Ben anymore and bagged up what Luke had grown out of. I am feeling good because I am hitting the holiday jobs early and I feel that I am achieving something. It is nice to have the time to do the things that I don't usually get time to do.

Hope that those on holidays are enjoying them too.

Happy Easter

Well the Easter Bunny was good to everyone. I got a beautiful pair of Pandora earrings and Chris got a new phone. The boys got some choccies and a DVD each. I let the boys get into their Easter Eggs and Luke took full advantage of this. We spent Easter Day at the Ryan Resort and then headed home in the afternoon. The day just went too quickly!!! It was a nice relaxing Easter! \

Easter Saturday

Easter Saturday we packed up to go and stay at the Ryan Resort for a night. We had a super time celebrating with the family. We always have Easter Saturday we packed up to go and stay at the Ryan Resort for a night. Sometimes we camp but I must be going a little soft as it is too cold for me. We had a super time celebrating with the family. We always have a good time when the Nies Family get together. There were many laughs to be had.
Happy Easter for everyone tomorrow.

Good Friday

Our first day of the holidays was a good one. We started to paint Luke's room in the morning and then the job ended up being bigger than we expected it to be so after a beautiful seafood lunch we packed up and went and met with some friends in the park. The boys had a great time playing football. We also had an Easter Egg hunt. A good way to start the holidays. It was a good Friday!
