Blessed

I have been blessed. I have so many beautiful people in my life. I know that I am lucky. I have two beautiful boys, a lovely family and I married into a gorgeous family as well. Then I have the best set of friends a girl could ever ask for. Yes I am blessed and as I scanned my photos this morning I couldn't help but think how lucky I am.

Oh I Can't Wait

I can't wait for "New Moon" to come out!!!!! Makes me want to read it again. Still haven't finished the last one as I am in denial. It I don't finish the book it won't be over. I don't want to know how it finishes. Don't want it to end. Simply can't wait.

You Hold Their Life In Your Hands

Being a parent is a very big job. I looked at this photo that I took the other day with Lachlan in Shell's hand and I though to myself that you really do hold their life in your hands. So precious. Shelly you are a great parent!!!!

My Three Gorgeous Boys

Here are some photos of my three gorgeous boys. Luke just can't get enough of Lachlan and I think that Lachlan is just as fond of Luke. Ben will be more interested when Lachlan can do some monkey acts similar to his own. Don't you just want to eat them up. I know that I am a little bias!!!

Goodbye Patrick Swayze

I would have to say that Patrick Swayze is one of my favourite male actors. He was the lead actor in my two all time favourite movies. I love Dirty Dancing and Ghost!!!! I am off to watch them both. So sad that such a brilliant man was taken so young. RIP.

Even Oldies Pick Up

My son Luke is very sensitive and they are doing some work at schools for charities at the moment. Luke told me that the idea was to buy some toiletries that could be packaged up as Christmas gifts and taken to an old peoples home or to disadvantaged people.

So I took Luke shopping on the weekend and his grade were buying deodorants. In the supermarket we started to check out the range. I was trying to tell him that the elderly have different tastes and probably wouldn't like Lynx like he does. He insisted on getting the old people Lynx. I once again tried to explain that the elderly are at a different place in life. He then told me just think about it mum we might help an old man pick up in the nursing home. Oh at this stage I was laughing out loud. I didn't stop him and the Lynx is being sent into school.

So to the little old man that gets the Lynx I hope that it helps you in the way that Luke would have it. I hope that it brings a smile to our face. I hope that it makes you smell damm good!!!! lol

And that is my funny story for the week. I hope that it will be the only one (no more running over sting rays or anything like that). I guess if that happens I have the Lynx to freshen the smell up.

PS I am off to try and erase the visual image I have of this little old man hitting on a little old lady -all because he smells damm hot.

Here's My Boy

Yes I know more photos of Lockie - I just can't get enough. He is just adorable. I wish I could have another one and enjoy him the way that I am enjoying Lockie.

He is now starting to interact with you and smile at you when you talk to him. I don't think that it will be too long and he will start to "coo" at you. I can't wait. I am just enjoying him beautiful little smiles. I think that Shell is in trouble because I see some cheek in him.

OMG My Sore Red Eyes

Last night I saw My Sister's Keeper and my eyes are still sore and swollen. It was a great movie but I sobbed most of the way through it. Not just tears running down my cheeks but full on sobbing. Those who have seen it will understand and those who haven't be warned it is beautiful but very sad. Even the happy parts were sad, the sad parts were terrible and the really sad parts devastating. I want to read the book now ( and yes girls I hear you and I know that I am half way through 3 other books but I will line up some serious holiday reading). My eyes have been sore all day. No other movie has touched me in such a way. Go see it if you haven't (thanks Bel).

A Super Busy Week

Every week is busy but this one was extra busy. It started with Luke being sick on the weekend and spray painting our toilet a new shade of brown. Now I have a strong stomach but cleaning up the mess took every bit of courage I could muster. Then I had a two day inservice at Belmore. I signed Luke up to play Summer Soccer on a Monday night and Ben to play on Tuesday nights. Then school Wednesday and swimming afterwards, Thursday was the same only I added doing a grocery shop after swimming. School again on Friday to present our Father's Day Assembly which I think went well considering the time that I had to organise it. After school I went to visit Shell to find that she had been sick so I helped out by taking Lachlan for a few hours. He was a good boy and Yes I did hand him back for all those who are asking.

The weekend involves a well deserved outing on Saturday night. The boys are going to watch a friends grand final in footy Saturday afternoon and Sunday is Father's Day. Then I will get on the merry-go-round and prepare for the following week.

My dad is not too well at the moment. I think that he is slowly slipping away from us!!!

I also sent off a canvas this week to Scrapbook Creations. Busy Busy Busy.
