A Day Out with MY Sister

I had a great day with my lil sis today. We went to the movies and saw a great chick flick and then we had a bit of a shop. The movie was good and gave us many laughs. The only problem with the day was that it went too quickly and before we knew it it was time to pick up the kids.

To The Women in My Life

Last night we had a night out with the girls. We went to dinner and then went to the movie "Women." I really enjoyed the movie and the trials and tribulations of many woman. Well girls we now have a vault that we can use!! One of the best things was that Helene is back and she was there to join in the fun. I love these women and admire each and every one of them for different reasons. Thank you girls for a great night. Hope that you are not in too much trouble Danielle. I really enjoyed the night out.

Today I am off to get photos processed from Sheree's Wedding and to buy the new Pink album.

Funny

Well I tried to talk Missy into having this as her wedding dance - she didn't think that she could do it without cracking up. We just had to settle with dancing to the song at her wedding. I absolutely love this clip from You Tube - I can never get enough of it.

Well Belinda I will see how my homework went.

Happy Birthday Chicky Babe!

To My Dearest Friend - Belinda, Just wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday. I hope that you have a fantastic day and that you are showered with beautiful Pandora gifts. Where are the photos of your new braclet?????? Hope that you have a nice dinner with your family.

My Guys at the Wedding of the Year

Luke did such a good job as Junior Groomsmen. All of the kids in the bridal party were just gorgeous. Both Benny and Lukey looked so handsome BUT I look at these photos and think about how grown up they are. How cute are THEY??????? Luke enjoyed being in the bridal party. I hope the professional photos are good.

Sheree and Nathan's Wedding

Yes it was the "Wedding of the Year." We had a super day celebrating. Missy was glowing. I don't think that the smile left her face all day. She smiled and then smiled some more and then smile some more. She was so happy. It was a beautiful day and I can't think of it being any more perfect. You make a great couple and I hope that you always remain as happy as you were on your wedding day. Missy you crack me up with some of your poses.

Mary - Mother of the Bride your too crack me up. I can still see you skipping down the path. I don't think that the smile left your face all day. Geoff you did a great job of the HAPPY, HAPPY! You didn't even need to be reminded.

Well I took way too many photos and I want to share them all. I think that I missed my calling as a wedding planner. I guess that if I get sick of teaching that I could follow that dream. I love wedding and I loved this one in particular. Thank you for sharing your special day with us. Can't wait until you get back and we can have some catch up drinks. Missy you were a beautiful bride BUT I guess when you are beautiful on the inside and the outside WHAT should we expect.

Our Backyard

I realised in the holiday what a great backyard we have. The kids can amuse themselves for hours. We really didn't do a lot in the holidays and the kids were happy to hang out. They went from the pool to the cubby, to playing soccer to playing on the swings.
They really are lucky kids.
The boys love the cubby and when Chris made it he made it big enough so that the boys would not outgrow it first. It is 6 foot inside - considering Luke was 58cm long born we figured that we couldn't make it too small.

Well we have a big weekend coming up with Sheree and Nathan's Wedding. Can't wait - nothing better than a wedding. It is likely that the next photos you see will be of the wedding - Luke is Junior Groomsmen so he will be all suited up. Can't wait.

A Share

Just thought that I would share my holiday scrapbooking. I have only completed four layouts. I would have liked to have done more BUT never mind. The two on the transparency are not the best photos of the layout as they don't show the cute little owl.

Well today I was invited out (thanks for the offer Dan) but I decided to stay home and do the boring stuff. So I dusted, cooked a leg of lamb, sorted Ben's summer clothes and cleaned the shower. Next I am off to bath the dog before it gets too cold. Tell the truth I am still in my PJs at 4.00pm Whoo Hoo- you have got to love the holidays. They are running out too fast.

Hope all is well.

What Narelle Means

What Narelle Means
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic “Type A” personality.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

Well for the most of it I think that this is pretty much right - so I think that mum and dad gave me the right name.

I Wish Max Was My Little Brother

Having Max over made me realise how impressionable little people are. He would see Luke and Ben do something and within a breath he would be trying to do the same thing.
I am not certain that kids are born with boy or girl genes. Max entered the cubby house and in second appeared at the door with a gun and he knew how to use it. Now I was one of those mums that swore that her boys would never play with guns but eventually I gave in to the inevitable. How do they know what to do with these things - he also knew how to play with swords. It just amazes me.
Whoa - was is going on with my hair????? Max went under the tramploine and the static got his hair bad. If had of stayed still for long enough I could have gotten some really good photos.
We looked after Max yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours. He was perfect - didn't bat an eyelid. The boys absolutely loved having him around and Ben has been pushing for a sleepover for a while. Ben kept saying "I wish that Max was our Little Brother" and they kept saying how much fun it would be to have a little one. I think so too!!!

Max we had a brilliant time playing with you BUT your expressions are too funny.

We had a great day celebrating at Randwick and then onto Retro. I wasn't sure if I was going to make Retro after the races BUT I DID!!!!! We had so much fun - I want to do it all again. I love Retro - dancing, singing up a storm, laughing and generally having fun with the girls. A super fun night.

PS Michelle had a straw similar to the one Sheree has BUT apparently she swallowed it. This amused the boys crowd as they seemed to think that all the girls should swallow. Well done Michelle - you deserve an award.

Sheree's Hen's Day

Well we all returned safe and sound from Sheree's Hens Day. We went to Ranwick Races and then to the Retro. Got to love the Retro. We had an excellent day and night and I am alive. Thought that I was too old for all of that Shanagans BUT apparently I can keep up with some of the best. Many laughs and loads of fun. I will post more photos went someone emails me them. A great weekend. Hope that you had fun Missy - I did!!!! Can't wait for the wedding - can't wait to see you walk down the aisle!!!! How exciting. It is such a beautiful day and I hope that you enjoy every second of it.

Here is the wanted poster that we displayed everywhere at the races. We had one offer of a BUCK wanting to swap clothes with the HEN. A little scary. Lots of bad Karaoke - the only kind. Why is it that after a few that we all think that we can sing???????

Looking forward to ABBA Idol tongiht -stuff the football. Hope that you are all enjoying the long weekend. Off to try and get some scrapping done.

A Day At Home

Today we spent the day at home to catch up with a few little things that needed to be done. It was fairly hot the boys enjoyed hopping in and out of the pool. The above photo is of the Kangaroo Paws that we have planted around the pool for some colour. I love these plants and now it is Spring we will plant some more.
While I was putting the waching away the boys decided to surprise me with creating this sign out of May flowers. It was really sweet - only you should see our May bush now. I am grateful to have such beautiful, caring boys. They are going to be snags.
Here are some action shots of the kids playing in the pool. Luke was busy perfecting his diving and Ben had caught a Ladybeetle which he was having great fun with. I think that the boys were just as happy to stay at home as I was. We have been out and about all week catching up with friends which has been great BUT it was nice just to spend the day at home. Ben got out of his PJs and into his swimers. A great day.
Well I am off to a Hen's Day tomorrow - watch the news as it is highly likely that one of us will end up on there. We are off to Randwick Races for the Epson - so if anyone has any tips let me know.

Hope all is well. Didn't get any scrapbooking done as I had planned but the is OK. Enjoying the holidays.
